Tuesday = blues day
My day in bullet points (because thought in an orderly fashion is not coming)
* I wore sandals (for the first time this season) I need a pedicure. Painted toes to me always look like they are smiling.
* I work with these 3 guys lets call them Larry Mo and Curly. Mo and I do not get along so his brothers in stooginess have taken to screwing with me. Case in point I have a picture of my god daughter on my desk they took it and tried to taunt me with it. I mean seriously how old are you… I may need to seek revenge not sure though how… I mean seriously mess with the girl who plays with sharp pointy objects?
* I picked up my long abandoned rectangle shawl to start knitting only to see that there was a humongo counting error so to the frog pond it went. It was actually a zen moment though and got my aggression out which was a good thing. The Lorna’s yarn from Purl rocks… this is some mini stripey fun. Plans for tomm. include restart on the shawl and then more sock time.
hopefully will come up with a good plan
oh its a Jolly Harlot Day
The Harlot make me wanna sing Mary Poppins?? Knitters in large numbers … what a sight to see. I took my bus (with the icky driver) to Port Authority got Farblungit ( i cant translate from Yiddish sorry) took me to long but I finally arrived at my destination. (actually Kim found me and brought me where I needed to go) Once upon a Tart was quite the pleasant eatery with the coolest duckie thing in the window oh and btw soup involving peas,spinach, and mint is awesome!! Then I hit Purl…(thanks Ina for providing the contrast, my photography skills leave much to be desired) omg I think I wanna move in there. Wow for a tiny store they have a heck of a lot. The wall of koigu made me wanna drool yet I bought none. I did buy some new exclusive to purl Lorna’s sock yarn… Then we made our way to FIT. Where I took the same photo as countless others I am sure… SPM spoke for about an hour and a half and then took questions (which were actually comments) What kind of blew my mind was all the people knitting like a giant SnB and not just knitting, there was a common goal (afghan squares). Stephanie touched on the kindness of knitters which was so evident in all the money collected to Doctors without Borders. Got to meet a fellow Jersey girl, waving to Jessica. All in all had a fabulous day which has been described much better by others… Suffice to say I can’t wait for the next knitter meet up… Photos from the day below

Tomorrow
Too excited going to FIT tomorrow to see the harlot. Complete thoughts are not working today so …
Spent 3/4s of the day in the hospital with the best friend… everything is OK now but it was kinda scary
on a positive note I was reminded how wonderful knitting is for frazzled nerves… There was a sock which was started and finished today.
Hopefully will have more tomorrow or friday including pics etc !! Cant wait ladies .

Do the dance…
I guess my wacky family had something in our lil dancing last night… My sis , the teacher, requested that we do a snow dance (she didn’t want to go to school today, I guess not only the kids wanna miss school) so like good families do grandma and I obliged and well this is what I woke up to. 
So I woke up and enjoyed some of this 
piping hot. By the way this is the first appearance of blue on this blog since the start of project spectrum….
Last night I bought something I have been lusting afterwards since they got it in…
Claudia’s Handpaint in the Chocolate Cherry colorway destined to become an Icarus shawl. This may be the yummiest most indulgent thing I have knit with yet and I am loving it. I think that’s all for now…
I have been experimenting….
… with the dark arts…. no seriously though I started kind of crocheting again ( I havent done that in YEARS!!) It is kind of an addiction. I have started making myself a little nook in my living/crafty/office room (why yes it is a true multi – purpose room). My (found) love seat thing is there just needs to be recovered with what I dont know. My pretty little table is kind of next to it and there is a floor lamp to its side (I’ll add a pic later it needs to be tidied) So of course it needs a blanket throw kind of thing. I saw a granny square bed spread on Posie which led me Here and out came the ACKrylic. I will not be grannying along because then I will never finish but lemme tell you these ladies know there squares. More Later…

It has been god knows how long since I have posted and the only title I can come up with is Monday , seriously? I have had tons of things I could post about but then thought nahhh so I kinda let the old blog catch a little dust.
Clapotis (made of the yummy burgundy MALABRIGO ::drool:: ::drool::) is so coming along just am finishing the increases (there is something about once I get to the straight knitting this baby is gonna fly ::snort::)
There is an orange toe up sock (Trekking XXL) is flying. I am not sure how I feel about the yarn on my feet, but lemme tell you it knits and knits fast. The stripey goodness is totally addictive.
Cherry Tree Hill. I may need to write some poetry about you (if I was the poetry writing type that is). I am knitting the second of this pair and oh are they some happy GREEN socks.
The multicolored wording in this post is to illustrate a point. I joined project spectrum. I did so long before it started. I got excited thought of ideas. Heck I think I bought stuff just for this. We are now well into the second month of it and has there been any BLUE WHITE or GRAY on this blog… I think not!! (actually I know not) This situation must be remedied!! My answer to this… I’m working on it
